Playing with fire.

The title really has nothing to do with what I'm going to write about. Although I do enjoy playing with fire, as does my boy:) Jk.

I'm really bummed about the big move this weekend! Once you have lived on your own, and in your own home, it's very hard to go back to sharing a household again.

There will be perks though... No power bill, cable bill, or gas bill. Many of my meals will be prepared for me. I will have a beautiful view and a park right across the street! Best of all, I will be saving a tremendous amount of cash. Now if only I can learn to control where the "extra" cash goes:)

I love Lucy

So Saturday was Lucy's turn to visit the vet. She was soooo cool, calm, and collected.... until the mean vet tech came in to get her temperature. She was one of those girls that tried to pass off her mad vet skills until I busted her ass! Jk. I didn't care for her.

But the actual vet on the other hand is a prince in disguise with his long white coat and pocket protector:) He did his thing and passed her off with 100% clean bill of health! Yay. My cat's are mutant health mongers!

While in the waiting room though, I came across a couple with a freakin hedgehog!!!! I want!!!

Come on...

Just when I was ready to whip out spring clothing, we have a day like today! I'm tired already! My boots want to retire and my skirts and dresses are a little upset for being locked up for soo long!

Just 2 days ago I spent 3-4 beautiful hours at the park swinging on the swings and playing tennis with my boy. Why must mother nature play this tom foolery with me?

It's just part of livin in Utah I suppose. Blah, blah, blah...

Antique me

Yesterday was Evan's 11th Birthday! Where in the hell did time go?! It seems like just yesterday I was lugging him around in his car seat and making sure he didn't ingest anything inedible! I sure miss the days of rocking him to sleep at night and his inability to talk back to me :)

Anyway, he decided to have his birthday extravaganza at Fat Cat's for a little bowling, pizza, and games. For the last few years he's had his party at Boondock's, so I was a little excited for the change. Things went well I suppose.
Keeping track of 6 boys is always a good time.

After Fat Cat's we went back to his grandma's for cake and presents. His requests this year were all fulfilled as usual. Nintendo DS ( his 3rd one), a cd player, and an iPod Nano. Not to mention 100 dollars from friends and a few gift cards. Lucky.

While downloading pics of his birthday, I started reminiscing about my childhood birthday parties. They were nothing compared to Evan's. Usually they were held at my house, where we played silly games and my parents always embarrassed me. Although one year I did have my party at the ice rink and it was the talk of the town. Jk.

I hope Evan remembers these days as vividly as I remember my childhood. I hope he smiles...

Back to school...

Today my mind was consumed with thoughts of going back to school. I'm going to go on to get my RN I think.

Paging Dr. VooDoo

I know, two posts in one day! I had to document my cats wonderful disposition at his first trip to the vet. Just look at him! Not only did he act like the perfect little angel, he was as still as a fox while getting his shots! I couldn't ask for more. Well, maybe a cat without ear mites. Jk Vood.

Gypsy

Yes indeed, another move is in store for the Lamoreaux 2. It has put me in such a funk that I don't know what to do with myself! Trying to fetch boxes, making sure I give proper notice, cleaning top to bottom for my deposit... ugh.

This is where being bi-polar comes in. In the last year or so, my one huge goal was to get out of this little ghetto I call home. My visit to San Diego reiterated this notion. But I won't be going there, not even close. I don't even want to say where we're relocating to. I'm a tad bit ashamed.

BUT... In 6 months to a year, I will be taking pictures of my new place. Yet to be discovered, but a place to call my own :)

Makin copies.

Today I was at everyones beck and call. First it was my son asking me to find a book that he was doing a book report on. I had already asked if he was done with it, because if he was, I was going to pack it. 6 boxes later mom found it.

Work was only better. A monitor flew in from one of the major pharmaceutical companies I work with to "monitor" my work. You would think, that with all her expertise and glory, she would know how to make her own damn copies! Nope. Get signatures from the docs? Nope. Work was like this all day. Imagine the joy.

I left a little early today. Only to find out from a co-worker that if I would have read my emails today, I would have known about our company's implementation of a new time clock! Yipee!

ewW...

This was today for me. Picked up my son early from school due to a "stomach ache". Got the phone call the absolute second I walked into the office. Ugh!

He's better now due to a magical elixir of Maalox, lidocaine, ibuprofen, and Miralax. Thanks for askin:) Me

Picture this...

I am sooo not the greatest at writing, so I've decided to post pictures that I either enjoy, or express my feelings for the day. Sounds good to me:) Here you/I go. Oh yeah, if something ever so exciting comes up, I shall blog about it. Cool.

For your happiness : )
